Role overview

The Accountant will handle core accounting activities, support statutory compliance, and ensure that financial records are maintained accurately and on time.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and tax filings accurately and within deadlines, including GST and income tax returns.
• Oversee routine accounting work such as billing, invoicing, and tracking accounts receivable.
• Keep the general ledger up to date and complete monthly bank reconciliations.
• Work with internal teams to identify and fix mismatches or concerns related to payables and receivables.
• Pass journal entries for transactions like asset capitalization, depreciation, and similar accounting items.

Eligibility

Applicants should have a background in commerce or accounting-related fields. Suitable qualifications include B.Com, Cost Accounting and Costing, Accounting, Account and Finance, Auditing, Business Analytics, Accounting and Taxation, any graduate degree, or a diploma in accounting.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is INR 2,25,000 to 3,25,000 per year.
