Accountant - Accounts Receivables

Role Summary

The Accountant specializing in Accounts Receivables is tasked with efficiently processing, monitoring, and accurately recording sales transactions. This position requires comprehensive management of the accounts receivable cycle including invoicing, payment processing, and timely collection activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounts receivable transactions such as invoice issuance and customer statement reconciliation.
• Maintain accounts receivable ledgers ensuring current aging, proper credit application, collection, and reconciliation of discrepancies.
• Engage with customers through visits if necessary to facilitate collection and meet customer needs.
• Generate and deliver analytical reports and ratio analyses on accounts receivable to assist management in tracking collection progress.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Develop, maintain, and enforce accounting procedures and controls.
• Handle miscellaneous tasks as assigned by supervisors.
• Coordinate accounts closure processes with relevant departments to ensure prompt finalization.
• Implement procedures that minimize errors and guarantee correct ledger postings.
• Prepare weekly reports addressing all accounts receivable matters.
• Ensure persistent follow-up to support collection activities.

Qualification & Education

Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

Experience & Certification

A minimum of three years’ experience in a comparable position is required. Possession of the SOCPA (Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants) certification is mandatory.
