Role Overview

This remote position based in LATAM is dedicated to cultivating existing customer relationships and stimulating revenue growth across a portfolio of retail accounts. Central to the role are developing targeted strategies for different sales channels, tracking sales outcomes and contribution margins, and leading a team of Sales Coordinators effectively. Collaboration with internal teams to execute revenue strategies and maintain profitability is key. The role reports to the Director of Drug, Grocery, and Specialty channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and nurture strong, strategic partnerships with retail customers, distributors, and stakeholders, acting as the primary brand representative.
  • Maintain consistent communication schedules with all principal retail partners to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
  • Drive retention and satisfaction initiatives across all managed accounts.
  • Manage and expand core retail partnerships by implementing assortment and pricing strategies aligned with leadership.
  • Analyze market and sales data, competitive landscape, and trends to guide account strategies.
  • Lead Line Review meetings and secure distribution of new products within the channel.
  • Identify and capitalize on expansion opportunities and whitespace within existing and potential accounts.
  • Oversee trade budgets and promotional activities with emphasis on ROI and profitability; collaborate with Finance for planning and reconciliation.
  • Assess promotion effectiveness and discontinue underperforming campaigns.
  • Maintain and execute promotional calendars synchronized with retailer scheduling.
  • Lead new product launches, ensuring retailer commitments, inventory preparedness, compliance, and collaborative execution.
  • Enhance merchandising and in-store display positioning to maximize profitability, aligned with retailer cycles.
  • Lead hiring, coaching, and development of Sales Coordinators, managing roles, priorities, and performance to support evolving sales needs.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Warehouse and Inventory teams to align forecasts, resolve inventory and compliance challenges, and ensure smooth shipment operations.
  • Act as liaison between retail partners and internal teams to promptly resolve chargebacks, compliance, and other operational issues.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience managing retail accounts within CPG, beauty, or consumer product sectors; knowledge of Grocery, Drug, or Specialty channels preferred.
  • Proficiency interpreting syndicated sales data (IRI, Nielsen, SPINS), sell-through analytics, contribution margin, and trade spend ROI.
  • Strong relationship-building skills to maintain productive long-term partnerships with buyers, category managers, and distributors.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with Finance, Supply Chain, Product Development, and Marketing teams.
  • Experience managing and developing teams, capable of delegation and talent growth.
  • Detail-oriented with strong operational focus, adept at handling compliance requirements and multiple accounts simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for preparing business reviews and sales materials.
