Role Overview

As an Account Manager, you will oversee daily operations for your portfolio of clients. Partnering with both client teams and Wavemaker specialists, you will ensure all outputs meet high quality standards and that strategic insights consistently inform all responses to briefs. Support to your Business Director and guidance of account executives and coordinators will be key to maintaining exemplary service standards and meeting all deadlines.

Your curiosity and passion about clients' businesses will enable you to identify challenges and develop effective solutions driving business growth. The role covers both digital and traditional media sectors, with room for advancement across these domains. Proficiency in media planning and buying across various media channels and a minimum of intermediate experience in media execution are expected.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables

  • Organize both your own work and that of junior team members to produce client work that meets or exceeds expectations while adhering to agency processes.
  • Maintain professional and consistent communication with clients and internal teams, fostering strong collaborative relationships.
  • Lead client meetings (WIPs), delegate tasks effectively, and ensure timely, error-free delivery alongside the broader client leadership.
  • Manage end-to-end campaign execution aligned with Wavemaker's planning philosophy and processes.
  • Guarantee output quality and punctuality across assigned client portfolios, ensuring alignment to client business goals.
  • Oversee accurate and timely client billing and start developing a commercial understanding of key clients.

Knowledge and Experience

  • A minimum of two years' experience in a media agency environment.
