Account Manager

Role overview

This position offers an hourly starting pay range of $15.30 to $16.45 and includes a $500 sign-on bonus, paid as $250 after 30 days and another $250 after 90 days.

As an Account Manager, you will be part of a store team focused on customer service, account growth, rental agreement sales, deliveries, pickups, and early collections. The role is designed for people who want a path to advancement, with most current Store Managers, District Managers, and Regional Vice Presidents having begun in this position. Success in this role means balancing strong customer relationships with day-to-day operational discipline and support for the company’s mission and values.

Key duties

• Manage a personal group of rental accounts and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Handle early delinquency collections for accounts that are 1 to 6 days past due, while meeting required daily and weekly collection targets.
• Use account tools to protect account health and obtain payment commitments.
• Work assigned delivery, pickup, and follow-up routes.
• Provide high-quality service in the store, by phone, and during in-home visits.
• Help increase sales by creating new rental agreements and supporting revenue growth.
• Move, install, and transport merchandise safely.
• Keep the sales floor/showroom and company vehicles in proper condition.
• Follow all safety rules and operational procedures.

Candidate profile

• Must have a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• A valid driver’s license with a solid driving record is required.
• Strong interpersonal communication and customer service ability is important.
• The job is physically demanding and includes lifting, bending, standing, and driving for long periods.
• Applicants should be comfortable driving a box truck and handling heavy items.
• Work schedule is full-time, Monday through Saturday, with Sundays off and one additional weekday off.
