Job description
Role Overview
Take charge of an established territory in regional Victoria and play a vital role in expanding one of Australia's premier masonry businesses. You will manage existing commercial and residential clients, forging strong partnerships while discovering new business prospects. Your customer base will include builders, bricklayers, landscape suppliers, and resellers, acting as their trusted advisor and providing expert guidance on bricks, blocks, pavers, and concrete masonry products.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and cultivate an established customer portfolio across regional Victoria.
- Seek out, engage, and secure new business opportunities within your allocated region.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with builders, resellers, contractors, and other construction stakeholders.
- Effectively promote Adbri Masonry’s comprehensive range of masonry products.
- Prepare and deliver quotes and manage customer interactions via Salesforce CRM.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to guarantee excellent customer service and product delivery.
- Manage customer inquiries and act as the primary contact for product and service issues.
- Meet and exceed sales targets related to revenue, margin, volume, customer retention, and acquisition.
- Analyze market activity and identify opportunities to grow market share.
Candidate Profile
- Proven background in account management with demonstrated success in business development and customer expansion.
- Experience in selling masonry, concrete, building materials, timber, construction or similar industrial products is highly regarded.
- Exceptional relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Strong communication skills coupled with excellent customer service orientation.
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce is advantageous.
- Competent in Microsoft Office and Excel at an intermediate level.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and readiness to travel extensively across your territory, including visits to Ballarat, Bendigo, Mildura, Albury, Mt Gambier, and nearby areas.
