About the Role
The Account Executive role is suited to someone who brings sales experience, particularly in SaaS, marketing, full-cycle selling, and hunter-style prospecting that includes cold outreach. After completing SpotHopper’s training program, you will move quickly into the field to meet owners and close new business.
This position also offers a clear growth path, with opportunities to move into management, training, and other internal openings as the company expands.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage the entire sales process from first outreach through closing the deal.
- Partner with the Customer Success team, which takes on most of the post-sale work.
- Drive new business by selling to locally owned bars and restaurants in a consultative way.
- Meet owners face-to-face, showcase the platform, and tailor solutions to their needs.
- Conduct about 1 to 4 in-person meetings each day at the restaurant or bar.
- Work within a territory roughly 45 to 1 hours radius, depending on territory assignments and future changes.

Compensation and Benefits
- Expected first-year on-target earnings are $100,000 to $125,000, including a base salary of $65,000 to $85,000.
- Top-performing AEs often reach the $150,000 to $200,000+ range by year two.
- Performance-based equity opportunities are available.
- A $300 monthly stipend is provided for operational expenses.
