Role Summary

This position is focused on accounting, statutory compliance, reconciliations, and support for financial closing activities. The role also involves coordination with auditors, stock checks, and process improvement support.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory compliance activities, including reconciliation and payment of GST, TDS, TCS, PF, and PT, along with timely return filing.
• Prepare and submit TDS and GST returns.
• Work with statutory auditors and internal auditors as needed.
• Create credit notes and debit notes according to company policies and record expense invoices.
• Carry out physical stock verification.
• Manage sales and purchase accounting together with related reconciliations.
• Monitor existing company processes and support improvements where possible.
• Assist in financial closing, balance sheet preparation, and MIS support.

Required Qualifications and Skills

The role calls for a commerce background, preferably with familiarity in accounting, finalization, and statutory compliance. The candidate should be comfortable using Microsoft Office and Tally, and should have strong working knowledge of GST and advanced Excel.

Additional Preferences

Applicants from a manufacturing environment will be preferred.

Education

B.Com in Commerce. Any Graduate or M.Com is also mentioned as a qualification requirement.
