Role overview
The Talent Account Executive will be responsible for generating new business among mid-sized to large enterprise clients across multiple industries. The role combines inbound lead handling with proactive outbound prospecting to build a healthy sales pipeline. You will work strategically with target accounts, understand their hiring and talent acquisition needs, and recommend solutions that support their recruitment objectives while maintaining a strong client-first approach.
Key responsibilities
- Consistently prospect to create pipeline and build strong professional relationships with potential clients.
- Prepare dependable forecasts and maintain clear, honest communication with leadership about pipeline health.
- Win new business on a regular basis at or above assigned quota.
- Plan territory strategy, execute against it, and share competitive intelligence in a structured way.
- Support teammates by offering coaching, guidance, and help whenever improvement opportunities arise.
- Help define and spread best practices that can serve as the team’s operating foundation.
- Bring market feedback to the product and marketing teams so they can improve offerings and messaging.
- Take initiative to solve issues beyond your immediate scope and embrace new responsibilities as they come up.
- Step up as a leader whenever possible and contribute to the company’s broader goals.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of relevant sales experience.
- A BA/BS degree or an equivalent qualification in a related discipline.
- Experience with solution-based selling.
- Ability to sell across multiple stakeholders within an organization.
- Background in SaaS sales.
- Hands-on experience with CRM tools.
- Proven capability in managing relationships with CXO-level decision makers and large enterprise accounts.
- Working knowledge of software contract terms and the ability to structure fair deals.
- Strong negotiation skills and accurate forecasting ability.
- Track record of closing high-value opportunities in a sales environment that requires strong advocacy.
- Ability to evaluate business opportunities using data and influence decisions effectively.
- Comfort handling many concurrent prospecting situations while positioning products against direct and indirect competitors.
