About the Role
As an Account Executive or Senior Account Executive focused on Group Tickets & Hospitality, you will drive sales for group ticket packages, premium hospitality areas, and suite inventory. The position centers on relationship-building, persuasive communication, and consistent sales execution to help the department meet revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell group tickets, nightly suites, and group hospitality spaces while working toward assigned revenue targets.
- Apply effective sales and service practices, including prospecting, networking at outside events, and lead generation.
- Create, plan, and deliver new theme night experiences.
- Renew group accounts and build strong, long-term relationships with key contacts.
- Make and complete at least 50 sales calls each day using cold outreach, prospecting, and referrals from current customers.
- Meet with the Group Sales Director every two weeks and provide clear updates on pipeline activity, prospecting, sales performance, event recaps, and account management.
- Handle sales activity both in the office and in the field.
- Meet prospects and customers during home games and support event fulfillment and group servicing when scheduled.
- Use the CRM system to manage contacts, track pipeline activity, and keep records accurate and current.
- Carry out any other duties assigned by the Director, Group Tickets & Hospitality.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Comfort using computers and common office software such as Word, Excel, and Outlook, along with standard office equipment like copiers, printers, telephones, and computers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and respectfully with others.
- Excellent organization and time management skills, including the ability to manage detailed work, multitask, and meet strict deadlines.
- Professional judgment, discretion, integrity, and accountability.
- Consistent, punctual, and dependable attendance.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older by the start date.
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent level of education.
- At least 2 years of prior experience in sales, fundraising, and/or event planning; sports sales experience is preferred.
- Previous CRM experience, with the ability to use it according to company standards and procedures.
- Strong administrative ability, organization, time management, and customer service skills.
- Bilingual English/Spanish ability is an advantage.
- Ability to communicate professionally with the public.
- Ability to travel around the ballpark during home games and escort prospective customers through different seating areas.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts as needed.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Ability to move through various areas of the ballpark for extended periods during games and events, and lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Must successfully complete all post-offer and pre-employment checks, including a background check.
Compensation and Benefits
The base pay for this full-time position is $22.06 per hour under California pay transparency rules. In addition, the role is eligible for commission if goals are met. Final pay may vary based on work experience, education, job-related skills, and other relevant hiring factors.

Additional Information
This position is based in the Ticket Sales & Services department and reports to the Director, Group Tickets & Hospitality. The role is classified as full-time and non-exempt.
