Job description
Role overview
This position sits within the Personal Lines area and is based in Little Island, County Cork. The role focuses on managing renewals, amendments, account updates, claims-related coordination, and client communication while supporting cross-selling and upselling activity across the full range of personal lines products.
Sales and activity management
- Work flexibly across all Personal Lines teams to support renewals, policy amendments, cross-selling, and upselling across product lines.
- Use strong negotiation and sales ability to help achieve activity and retention goals.
- Handle renewals and client retention in line with agreed targets and compliance standards.
- Complete mid-term changes, renewals, account entries, claims liaison, and correspondence end to end.
- Keep all client files fully updated in Relay.
Customer relationship management
- Support clients across departments by managing renewals, mid-term alterations, and queries related to personal lines products.
- Take ownership of work quality, accuracy, and attention to detail in every task.
- Respond to internal and external requests promptly and efficiently.
Team collaboration
- Develop positive working relationships across Arachas teams and collaborate to meet collective targets and objectives.
Compliance
- Ensure all activities are carried out in line with required compliance standards.
Requirements
- APA qualification is required.
- CIP is preferred.
- Previous experience in a fast-moving environment is necessary.
- Working knowledge of Relay would be an advantage.
- Strong organisation skills with the ability to prioritise, multitask, and manage daily workloads.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong interpersonal skills for dealing with both colleagues and customers.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to identify issues and solve problems effectively.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, dynamic team setting.
- Willingness to adapt to change and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to take on ad hoc duties when required.
