About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Account Executive to join our Affinity – Entertainment and Leisure team at Marsh Risk. Based in either Adelaide or Sydney, this role operates on a hybrid model requiring a minimum of three days working from the office each week.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and nurture strong client relationships by understanding and proactively addressing their insurance needs.
- Execute policy renewal and broking strategies tailored to clients’ requirements.
- Manage billing processes and collect information necessary for obtaining insurance quotes.
- Develop productive partnerships with insurers and support negotiation efforts.
- Maintain client portfolio records including renewals, credit control, and reporting.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities promptly.
- Introduce clients to new products or broader insurance policies as appropriate.
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience within the insurance industry is essential.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to operate independently within a collaborative team environment.
- A highly motivated self-starter with an eye for detail.
- Problem-solving aptitude and creative thinking skills.
- Confident handling of sensitive and confidential information.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and quick to learn new software systems.
Desirable Attributes
- Possession of Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification or above.
- Driven to exceed client expectations and deliver service excellence.
