Account Executive - Affinity Entertainment and Leisure

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Account Executive to join our Affinity – Entertainment and Leisure team at Marsh Risk. Based in either Adelaide or Sydney, this role operates on a hybrid model requiring a minimum of three days working from the office each week.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and nurture strong client relationships by understanding and proactively addressing their insurance needs.
• Execute policy renewal and broking strategies tailored to clients’ requirements.
• Manage billing processes and collect information necessary for obtaining insurance quotes.
• Develop productive partnerships with insurers and support negotiation efforts.
• Maintain client portfolio records including renewals, credit control, and reporting.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities promptly.
• Introduce clients to new products or broader insurance policies as appropriate.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience within the insurance industry is essential.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to operate independently within a collaborative team environment.
• A highly motivated self-starter with an eye for detail.
• Problem-solving aptitude and creative thinking skills.
• Confident handling of sensitive and confidential information.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and quick to learn new software systems.

• Possession of Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification or above.
