The Roku Ads Manager is our self-serve streaming advertising platform, recently launched to general availability and rapidly growing. Our small, agile Ads Manager team is dedicated to scaling the foremost streaming ad platform. We work collaboratively, embrace swift pivots, challenge norms, and push the boundaries for advertisers, agencies, and businesses aiming to leverage big-screen advertising.
Role Overview
We are seeking an Account Executive to spearhead demand generation and client growth for Roku Ads Manager. This role champions the democratization of TV advertising, making streaming ad access feasible for businesses of all sizes.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and target large groups of potential advertisers through innovative market segmentation and prioritization strategies to maximize outreach success, sign-ups, and revenue.
- Engage potential clients using multiple channels such as email, direct platform messaging, video meetings, and social media, clearly conveying the benefits of Roku Ads Manager.
- Qualify prospects to confirm they fit the ideal customer profile and support their onboarding by providing resources and platform education.
- Guide new advertisers through account and campaign setup, answering queries, sharing best practices, and demonstrating platform features. Develop promising leads for sustained revenue growth.
- Maintain strong relationships with key brands to encourage ongoing engagement, optimize campaign performance, and collect feedback to enhance both advertiser success and Roku’s product development.
- Spot opportunities to upsell additional services or features, collaborating internally to maximize client revenue.
- Prepare regular performance reports to management, analyzing key metrics and conversion rates to evaluate platform effectiveness.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated expertise in digital advertising markets, purchasing models, and related technologies.
- Minimum two years of experience in sales, growth marketing, or client-facing roles, preferably with exposure to ad networks or the mobile gaming sector.
- Proven ability to craft high volumes of personalized outreach and proficiently handle objections.
- Strong communication skills across phone, email, and video presentations.
- Comfort operating at scale, leveraging data to guide sales and operational activities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams while independently managing client accounts.
- Entrepreneurial mindset keen on establishing and growing new business lines.
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- A proactive self-starter excited to tackle challenges and promote streaming ads to brands of any size.
Work Environment and Benefits
Roku supports hybrid working, typically in-office Monday through Thursday, with Fridays offering remote flexibility except where specific job requirements dictate full-week attendance.
Compensation ranges based on individual qualifications and geography, with a New York estimate of $56,000 to $85,000 annually, plus incentives and commissions. Benefits include health coverage, equity awards, life and disability insurance, parental leave, wellness programs, and paid time off.
