Role Overview
This position, based in New York City, Chicago, or San Francisco, embraces a hybrid work arrangement combining remote and office-based days to balance flexibility with collaboration. The role falls within LinkedIn Marketing Solutions (LMS), whose mission is empowering organizations globally to access economic growth via innovative marketing tools and talent. Specifically, this role operates within the Growth and Mid Market team's Performance and Expansion division, focusing on early-stage startups and promising LMS clients to fuel their growth through best-in-class advertising products.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage marketing decision-makers at B2B startups to generate new business opportunities.
- Provide expert guidance to prospective clients on leveraging the full spectrum of LinkedIn’s marketing offerings.
- Educate customers on how to utilize LinkedIn's marketing platform to meet their marketing goals and build lasting partnerships.
- Consistently aim to surpass individual and team sales quotas.
- Collaborate effectively with client solutions managers and cross-functional teams to maximize customer value.
- Report regularly on sales pipelines and forecast performance to management.
- Demonstrate initiative by proactively resolving issues and embracing new responsibilities as they arise.
- Contribute innovative ideas and share best practices to foster continuous improvement within the team.
- Participate actively in ongoing learning and development to enhance sales expertise and teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in advertising, marketing, media, or business development.
- A minimum of 2 years working in media sales or digital media account management.
Preferred Experience
- Background working with startup marketers or within startup environments.
- Over 5 years in digital media sales.
- Familiarity with the LinkedIn Ads platform.
- Strong skills in customer discovery and understanding business objectives.
- Experience using sales outreach platforms such as SalesLoft.
- Proven capability to manage a large portfolio of clients or accounts.

Compensation and Benefits
The total On Target Earnings for this role range from $171,000 to $260,000 annually, depending on factors like experience, skills, certifications, and location. Compensation packages may also encompass bonuses, stock options, benefits, and other incentives.
