About the Role

This role is suited to a motivated, detail-focused hospitality professional who wants to grow their leadership experience in a high-end environment.
The position supports the smooth day-to-day operation of the Accommodation Department, working closely with the Accommodation Manager and other hotel teams to maintain excellent cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction across the property.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Accommodation Manager in ensuring guest rooms, public areas, and self-catering units are kept to a consistently high standard of cleanliness and order.
Help coordinate the housekeeping team’s daily tasks so workloads are distributed fairly and work is completed efficiently.
Conduct routine checks of rooms and areas to confirm standards are being maintained and improved where possible.
Take part in shift handovers and support clear communication about guest needs, priorities, and departmental updates.
Make sure housekeeping checklists and shift reports are completed accurately and on time.
Monitor housekeeping storerooms and departmental areas for cleanliness, organisation, and adequate stock levels.
Contribute to the training, coaching, and ongoing development of team members while encouraging a positive, high-performing team culture.
Work with colleagues across departments to support smooth daily operations, special guest requests, and event-related requirements.
Coordinate with Maintenance to log and follow up on issues that may affect guest safety or comfort.
Help ensure full compliance with health, safety, and hygiene requirements at all times.
Step in as a contact person when the Accommodation Manager is unavailable, as needed.
Requirements
At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within housekeeping or accommodation operations.
Proven ability to guide, support, and motivate a team to deliver strong standards of service and presentation.
Well-developed organisational and time-management abilities, with a sharp eye for detail.
Strong communication and people skills, with a practical, hands-on approach to teamwork.
A proactive mindset, good problem-solving ability, and a strong focus on guest satisfaction.
