About the Club
Desert Falcon Football Club is a high-performance football academy in Dubai, UAE, focused on producing strong young players across all age groups. The environment is built around excellent coaching, professional standards, and a drive to keep improving.
Role Summary
The academy coach will be responsible for planning, delivering, and reviewing high-quality coaching sessions for players from U6 to U18. Working alongside the Academy Director and the wider coaching team, you will help carry out the Desert Falcons coaching philosophy, uphold strong development standards, and contribute to the club’s professional culture.
Employment Details
This role is available on a part-time or full-time basis and reports to the Academy Director. The position is based in Dubai, UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and run engaging, technically focused coaching sessions that follow the Desert Falcons syllabus.
- Coach talented players across the full youth pathway, from U6 through U18, to a high standard.
- Take part in match days, tournaments, and other club events whenever needed.
- Upload session plans and player observations to the shared drive soon after each session.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with parents, and raise any concerns to the Academy Director without delay.
- Attend monthly CPD sessions and continue working toward additional coaching qualifications.
- Consistently model the Desert Falcons Code of Conduct.
Required Background
- A football coaching qualification at minimum Level 1 (UEFA C); Level 2 / UEFA B will be considered an advantage.
- Proven experience coaching elite-level players across the U6 to U18 age bands, with strong awareness of age-appropriate development.
- A genuine commitment to ongoing improvement, including openness to feedback and continuous study of the game.
- At least 3 years of coaching experience in the UAE and familiarity with the local football environment.
- A valid driving licence and access to personal transport for travel to training sites, match venues, and the academy office as required.
- A current safeguarding certificate, or the willingness to obtain one before starting.
- Professional, dependable, well organised, punctual, and confident communicating in English with players, parents, and colleagues.
