Job description
Role overview
This position is for an experienced academic writing tutor who can support the training of AI models. The work involves testing AI chatbots, checking how well they reason, tracking their progress, and resolving issues that help improve model quality.
What you will do
- Assign writing and editing tasks to AI chatbots and review the responses they produce.
- Assess AI-generated outputs for accuracy, quality, and overall performance.
What the role requires
You should have a strong background in writing, editing, and content development at an expert level. Relevant backgrounds may also include Communications or Journalism.
Working arrangement
This is an independent contractor role. You can choose the projects you take on and decide when you work. You will work on your own schedule using your own computer from home.
Pay and payment details
Projects are compensated at an hourly rate starting from $25 to $30+ per hour, and some projects may include bonus rates. Payment is processed through PayPal, which also handles any currency conversion from USD.
Eligibility and application notes
Only candidates located in New Zealand will be considered. Applicants must be fluent in English at a native or bilingual level and should be detail-oriented with excellent grammar, style, and brand voice control. A Bachelor's degree that is current, in progress, or completed is preferred, but it is not mandatory. No payment or fee will ever be requested from applicants.
