Internship Program Details

This internship is designed for currently enrolled college students who seek academic credit during the Fall 2026 semester. The term runs for one academic term, approximately 3 to 4 months, starting flexibly in August or September 2026. The internship requires about 8 to 15 hours per week, with schedules arranged to accommodate class commitments and college requirements. The role is mainly remote, with limited optional production opportunities for interns located in Los Angeles.

Available Internship Areas

• Post-Production / Assistant Editing: Learn media organization, audio sync, footage review, string-outs, multicamera editing, and project preparation workflows under supervision.
• Audio Post / Sound Design: Gain foundational experience in dialogue cleanup, Foley, sound effects, music placement, audio editing, and basic mixing techniques.
• Motion Graphics / After Effects: Engage in creating animated titles, lower thirds, templates, visual effects, text animation, and promotional graphics enhancing motion storytelling.
• Writing / Script Development: Develop skills in screenplay coverage, loglines, character and structure analysis, research, proofreading, notes, treatments, and pitching.
• Documentary Development / Editing: Participate in researching, evaluating archival materials, transcript analysis, interview selects, and assisting with documentary post-production.
• Cinematography / Camera and Lighting: Study shot design, visual references, camera and lighting setup, composition, color workflows and equipment organization with opportunities for on-set exposure for local interns.

Eligibility and Requirements

This is an unpaid internship awarded strictly for academic credit. Candidates must be enrolled in a college or university and eligible to earn internship credit. School approval and authorization to participate remotely are necessary prerequisites. Intern activities are guided by mentorship and approved educational objectives without replacing paid employment. Completion of the internship does not guarantee job offers.

Preferred Qualifications

Ideal candidates are responsible, organized, communicative, and passionate about film, television, documentaries, music, branded media, or social-impact storytelling. Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, sound editing, cinematography, or color correction is advantageous but not mandatory.
