Job description
Role overview
Behavioral Health Works, Inc. is hiring an ABA Talent Acquisition Specialist to support a fully remote recruitment function focused on clinical and behavioral health hiring. This position is centered on building strong teams by attracting high-quality ABA professionals and creating a positive candidate journey from initial outreach through onboarding.
The role is ideal for a recruiter who enjoys relationship-based hiring, understands the ABA talent landscape, and can partner with leaders to bring in skilled professionals such as Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
What the role involves
- Running end-to-end hiring for RBT, BCBA, and related ABA positions.
- Building and nurturing long-term talent pipelines within the ABA community.
- Finding, screening, interviewing, and assessing candidates for clinical and cultural fit.
- Managing candidate communication and engagement throughout the hiring process.
- Working closely with hiring managers to understand staffing priorities and workforce needs.
- Organizing interviews, extending offers, and supporting onboarding steps.
- Keeping ATS records accurate and maintaining recruiting documentation.
- Monitoring recruiting metrics and using data to improve hiring results.
- Supporting employer branding efforts in the ABA space.
What will help you succeed
- Experience recruiting RBTs, BCBAs, or other behavioral health professionals.
- Working knowledge of ABA hiring needs, certification requirements, and market challenges.
- A focus on hire quality and long-term employee retention.
- Ability to build trust with both candidates and hiring partners.
- Comfort with sourcing passive candidates and creating talent pipelines.
- Strong organization while handling multiple open roles at once.
- Professional, confident communication with candidates across levels.
- Comfort working in a collaborative remote environment.
Qualifications
A minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience is required, with direct ABA recruiting experience strongly preferred. The ideal candidate has a solid record of successfully hiring RBTs and BCBAs, has managed full-cycle recruitment, and is comfortable using applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools. Strong sourcing, interviewing, and relationship-building abilities are also important.
Why this opportunity stands out
- Chance to contribute directly to the growth and quality of ABA services.

- Exposure to the full candidate experience, from first contact through onboarding.
