About the Role
Homecamp, a distinguished Australian outdoor brand, specializes in designing proprietary canvas tents and camping furniture. They are seeking a talented 3D product visualiser to deliver highly realistic renders of their canvas tents. These visualisations will be created digitally from 3D models or digital twins, enabling multiple viewing angles, variations in fabric colors, lifestyle background settings, and producing reusable, web-optimized product images.
Project Scope
The ideal candidate will work from provided multi-angle photographs, 2D dimensional plans, and fabric swatches to reproduce the tents with an emphasis on achieving authentic canvas details such as natural drape, guy-line tension, fabric weave texture, and fabric weight. The deliverables include hero images for each tent style, 3 to 4 colorway variants, 2 to 3 distinct angles, and 1 to 2 different lifestyle backgrounds. This is a paid position starting with a test render of a single Bell tent, with potential subsequent work spanning multiple SKUs.
Budget and Process
The project budget ranges between 750 and 1500 USD. Candidates should submit examples demonstrating proficiency with soft goods visualization (for items like tents, apparel, bags, or upholstery), alongside proposed pricing for test and per-SKU renders, estimated turnaround times, and the software utilized. This role is a paid engagement with potential follow-up projects.
