Role Overview: Forensic Services

The forensic team assists clients in detecting, preventing, and resolving financial and business-related fraud concerns. This group is segmented into three interrelated units: Discovery, Investigations, and Analytics, enabling a rapid and confident response to crises, disputes, and investigations. The New Zealand team comprises over 30 specialists serving diverse sectors such as Financial Services, Energy & Infrastructure, Telecommunications, and Healthcare.

Key daily functions include applying advanced analytical methods and technology to scrutinize financial records and documents for irregularities, collaborating on varied client cases requiring forensic expertise, and developing data processing scripts to manage substantial data sets. The insights gained are presented through dynamic visual dashboards.

Candidate Profile

• No prior work experience is necessary, though part-time jobs or internships in areas like information systems, data analytics, data science, law, or accounting are advantageous.
• Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program in fields such as Commerce/Business, Engineering, Science, or Law, with majors that may include Accounting, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Analytics.
• A detail-oriented and analytically minded individual with eagerness to learn about emerging technologies; technical skills are welcome but not mandatory as training is provided.
• Possesses adaptability, resilience, meticulousness in procedural tasks, inquisitiveness for problem-solving, and openness to change.
