Graduates undergo a week-long induction including business orientation, pairing with a mentor and coach, and networking with nearly 200 fellow graduates. Role Overview

The Forensics team assists clients in identifying, preventing, and addressing complex challenges around integrity, fraud, financial crime, disputes, and investigations. Combining accounting, analytics, technology, and investigative skills, the team helps organisations manage risks and uncover important insights.

Working across diverse industries such as Financial Services, Government, Energy, Telecommunications, Healthcare, and Consumer Products, the New Zealand Forensics team of over 30 professionals supports clients with high-stakes cases.

The team seeks motivated and curious graduates interested in building forensic expertise. Candidates with backgrounds in accounting, finance, commerce, data analytics, statistics, technology, or related fields are especially welcomed.

Daily Responsibilities

• Applying advanced technology and analytical methods to review accounting records, financial data, and sources for irregularities and insights.
• Participating in various projects within multiple sectors requiring forensic accounting and investigative analysis.
• Utilizing data analytics tools to process and analyze large datasets to solve complex client issues and identify critical trends.
• Developing foundational forensic skills alongside experienced colleagues on client engagements.

Candidate Qualifications

• No prior professional experience is required, although part-time work, internships, or extracurricular activities demonstrating analytical thinking or commercial awareness are beneficial.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in fields such as Commerce, Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Law, or related disciplines.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities coupled with an interest in leveraging accounting, data, and technology to resolve complex business issues.
• An inquisitive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to quickly acquire new skills.
• High motivation, curiosity, ambition, resilience, and adaptability in dynamic environments.
• Attention to detail, sound judgment, and a collaborative working style.
