Job description

About the Graduate Programme

INEOS offers a dynamic graduate programme aimed at fast-tracking talented graduates into leadership roles within the commercial sector of its petrochemical businesses across Europe. This five-year development plan involves three distinct roles, each lasting between one and two years, placed in different INEOS functions, business areas, and European countries, with at least two rotations abroad to enhance cultural exposure.

Programme Experience

Graduates will engage in critical assignments such as business analysis, procurement, product management, sales, supply chain, and sustainability. The organisation’s flat structure provides direct access to senior management, enabling new hires to assume genuine responsibilities from day one. The programme emphasizes comprehensive development supported by on-the-job training, mentoring, and participation in international corporate events.

Candidate Requirements

  • A strong academic background with a degree preferably in numerate, technical, engineering, or science disciplines.
  • Flexibility and willingness to relocate across European offices during the programme's duration.
  • Robust commercial insight and aptitude.
  • Proactive and driven mindset focused on initiative and delivering results.
  • Open-minded, pragmatic problem solver unafraid to challenge traditional approaches.
  • Ability to perform confidently under pressure.
  • Resilience, meticulousness, and a good sense of humour.

Applicants should be recent graduates with up to two years of relevant work experience and must already possess the legal right to work within the European Union without employer sponsorship due to the programme's start date.

Benefits and Opportunities

  • Immediate responsibility in role from the outset of your career.
  • Minimum of two professional rotations in key business areas.
  • Guaranteed placement opportunities in two European nations from Belgium, France, Germany, or the UK.
  • Mentorship from senior management to guide your career path.
  • Soft skills advancement via dedicated training programmes.
  • Participation in centrally organised corporate events designed for networking and learning.
  • Work-life balance supported by a focus on wellness and physical health.
  • Competitive entry salary with attractive benefits, enhanced salary progression, and annual bonus opportunities.
