Job description

Role Overview

We are seeking a Trainee Resident Housing Officer to join our North Team covering Dublin, Louth, and Meath in a hybrid working setup. This fixed-term position extends for two years and requires the successful candidate to attend studies aimed at obtaining the PSRA license. Your role will be within the Housing Services team contributing to operations by delivering high-quality housing management services to tenants on our schemes. Candidates with a strong dedication to this trainee program and an ambition for a housing career are encouraged to apply.

Education and Training

Applicants may have a background from various academic paths, and where necessary, the company will support the completion of top-up modules to meet PSRA standards. Candidates lacking sufficient academic background can undergo a fully funded structured distance learning program over two years to achieve PSRA-level competence. Additional certification courses will support this professional development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage fully in the Trainee Placement Program
  • Manage aspects of rent collection
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance
  • Assist with lettings and allocations
  • Oversee estate management duties
  • Support tenancy management activities

Candidate Profile

  • Holds a primary degree or equivalent education in Social Science or related disciplines
  • Experience working in property-related environments
  • Familiarity with diverse populations including vulnerable groups, homeless, elderly, and low-income households
  • Currently employed full-time in a relevant industry role
  • Possess a full clean driving license and have access to a vehicle
  • Intermediate proficiency in IT and digital tools
  • At least two years of experience in customer-focused roles
  • Recent graduates willing to complete additional modules to meet PSRA competency levels
  • If academic qualifications are below level 5, candidates may undergo a Recognition of Prior Learning assessment to determine suitability
