Job Overview
We are hiring a careful and dependable Store Keeper to handle store and inventory operations for a restaurant/hospitality setup. This role involves receiving materials, issuing stock as needed, maintaining precise inventory records, and keeping food and non-food supplies stored correctly. The aim is to control wastage, protect stock accuracy, and support smooth day-to-day operations.
What You’ll Do
- Accept incoming deliveries and match the received quantities with purchase orders and invoices.
- Check every delivery for product quality, visible damage, and expiry dates.
- Arrange stock using FIFO and FEFO methods so items are used in the correct order.
- Release stock to the kitchen and restaurant teams only against approved requisitions.
- Update inventory records accurately in Excel or an inventory management system.
- Carry out stock counts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Watch inventory levels closely and work with the purchase team to raise replenishment needs.
- Identify damaged, expired, and slow-moving items and track them properly.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and hygienic store environment.
- Work closely with Kitchen, Purchase, Accounts, and Operations teams to keep inventory flowing smoothly.
- Prepare stock statements, variance summaries, and consumption reports as required.
- Help reduce stock loss, pilferage, and avoidable wastage.
Eligibility
Applicants should have a graduate degree or diploma in any discipline. A background of 1 to 3 years as a Store Keeper in a restaurant, hotel, QSR, cloud kitchen, or other hospitality environment is required. Candidates should also understand inventory control and stock handling processes.
