About Access Healthcare
Access Healthcare is actively hiring Social Care Workers for temporary agency roles throughout County Meath. These opportunities span mainstream children’s residential care and Intellectual Disability (ID) services.
Role Overview
The positions offer a range of shift patterns including full-time and part-time options, encompassing day, night, and sleepover duties. Candidates can expect to work in various service environments such as children’s residential homes, intellectual disability residential settings, respite care, and supported living facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-focused care and support tailored to children and adults.
- Encourage independence, well-being, and positive developmental outcomes.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with service users, their families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Assist with daily living tasks in line with individualized care plans.
- Keep precise documentation and uphold care standards compliant with HIQA and internal policies.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess a Level 7 qualification or higher in Social Care or a related field.
- Be registered with CORU.
- Hold a full, clean driver’s license.
- Previous work experience in mainstream children’s residential or intellectual disability services is advantageous.
- Eligible to work in the Republic of Ireland.
