Senior Payroll Expert

About the Company

Our client is a globally operating organization within the Life Science sector.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily payroll operations, including organized allocation of routine and urgent tasks.
• Serve as the point of contact for payroll-related questions and coordinate smooth workflows within the team.
• Contribute to improving payroll processes and support the implementation of new standards and tools.
• Lead partial projects related to payroll and actively participate in the department’s development.
• Maintain and monitor filings with social security agencies and authorities, coordinating with external service providers.
• Prepare relevant reports and assist with monthly and annual closing activities.
• Represent payroll team leadership when required.

Candidate Profile

• Extensive experience in payroll administration with a solid understanding of labor, tax, and social security laws.
• Experience managing projects within the payroll domain.
• Some experience in supervising or coordinating small teams is beneficial.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ticketing systems or HR software.
• Strong organizational skills, methodical working style, and excellent communication abilities.
• Fluent in both German and English, spoken and written.

Salary Information

Annual target salary ranges from 80,000 to 95,000 EUR depending on experience.
