Role Summary
We are hiring a full-time Accountant based on-site in Doha, Qatar. The role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, strengthening accounting processes, and supporting reliable financial reporting for a healthcare-oriented organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain financial reports and analyses to support business decisions.
- Manage budgeting activities and assist with monitoring financial performance.
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve inconsistencies in records.
- Check financial data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Apply accounting controls and support the upkeep of internal control procedures.
- Review, monitor, and improve accounting workflows and system processes.
- Assist with audit-related requirements and financial compliance tasks when needed.
Required Background
- A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, ideally within healthcare or other service-based businesses.
- Practical exposure to financial reporting, budgeting, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
- Hands-on experience using accounting or business management systems such as Odoo, ERPNext, or comparable ERP software.
- Ability to inspect financial records, spot discrepancies, and maintain data accuracy.
- Solid understanding of accounting controls, financial procedures, audits, and internal controls.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and the capability to work independently.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software is preferred.
- Professional accounting credentials such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, CA, or similar are preferred.
Additional Information
