Role Summary

We are hiring a full-time Accountant based on-site in Doha, Qatar. The role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, strengthening accounting processes, and supporting reliable financial reporting for a healthcare-oriented organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial reports and analyses to support business decisions.
• Manage budgeting activities and assist with monitoring financial performance.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve inconsistencies in records.
• Check financial data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Apply accounting controls and support the upkeep of internal control procedures.
• Review, monitor, and improve accounting workflows and system processes.
• Assist with audit-related requirements and financial compliance tasks when needed.

Required Background

• A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, ideally within healthcare or other service-based businesses.
• Practical exposure to financial reporting, budgeting, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
• Hands-on experience using accounting or business management systems such as Odoo, ERPNext, or comparable ERP software.
• Ability to inspect financial records, spot discrepancies, and maintain data accuracy.
• Solid understanding of accounting controls, financial procedures, audits, and internal controls.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and the capability to work independently.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software is preferred.
• Professional accounting credentials such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, CA, or similar are preferred.
