As a Product Design Apprentice for one year, you will gain hands-on experience in designing products from inception to launch. Collaborate closely with seasoned designers and venture teams, understanding how user research, design thinking, and UX/UI design converge in early-stage environments. This position suits those who are adaptable, curious, and enthusiastic about exploring different sectors before settling on a specialization.

About Liminal

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in and conduct user research, including interviews, usability tests, desk research, and surveys
• Convert research findings into clear insights and identify opportunity areas
• Produce design deliverables such as personas, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and minimum viable product (MVP) flows
• Contribute to UX/UI design for preliminary product concepts and MVPs
• Engage in design thinking workshops and collaborative team sessions
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Business units
• Understand how design influences desirability, product-market fit, and business outcomes

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Possesses 0 to 3 years experience in product design, UX/UI, research, or related disciplines
• Is either a recent graduate with solid fundamentals or a junior designer aiming to elevate skills
• Has a basic grasp of human-centered design and UX principles
• Proficient in using design tools like Figma or equivalents to convey ideas
• Curious, self-driven, and comfortable working with ambiguity
• Communicates effectively and collaborates well with teams
