Job Overview
This role involves sourcing and procuring materials, equipment, and services essential for various projects such as drilling, production, maintenance, and engineering. The Procurement Executive will work closely with internal teams including engineering, projects, and operations to align procurement needs with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Source necessary materials and services required for operational and project activities.
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to comprehend procurement requirements and specifications.
- Assess supplier capabilities and perform thorough technical and commercial bid evaluations.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to optimize cost efficiency and supplier performance.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, company policies, and health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Manage and maintain vendor databases as well as procurement records meticulously.
- Track orders actively to meet project deadlines and reduce operational downtime.
- Participate in supply chain risk assessment and mitigation efforts.
- Compile procurement reports and analyses for management review.
- Utilize procurement software and ERP systems, such as SAP and Oracle.
- Exhibit strong negotiation and vendor management abilities.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Process, Marine Offshore, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related fields is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Experience managing equipment contracts, particularly topside equipment, is advantageous.
Location and Working Hours
Work locations include Seatrium (SG) Pte. Ltd. at Tuas Boulevard Yard (80 Tuas South Boulevard, Singapore 637051) and Tuas Yard (Pioneer Sector 1, Singapore 628437). Islandwide transport is provided.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:15 PM, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
