About the Role

Join Jovie's team as an on-call nanny caring for multiple families in the Kirkland, WA area. This position offers flexible scheduling around your availability and allows you to support families with infants and toddlers in their homes without transportation duties. Ideal for those with previous childcare experience or a background in teaching who desire a smaller, hands-on childcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive in-home care focused on children from infants through toddlers, with highest demand for those under 2 years old.
  • Engage children safely through age-appropriate, hands-on activities and creative play tailored to their development.
  • Perform minimal household cleanup related to childcare activities or meals, avoiding other domestic tasks.
  • Travel independently to various homes in the area as assigned.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Hourly pay ranging from $22 to $25.

Candidate Requirements

  • Availability to work at least three weekdays, with 6 to 8 hour shifts scheduled any time between 7 AM and 7 PM.
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, responsive demeanor in interactions with families and staff.
