About the Role

Jovie is seeking compassionate and flexible nannies to join their on-call team, providing childcare services to multiple families in the Los Angeles area. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in babysitting, daycare, or related childcare positions, including retired teachers or teaching professionals looking for a smaller environment. The position allows flexible scheduling to accommodate personal commitments such as school or other part-time work.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and safe in-home care to children, predominantly infants and toddlers under two years old, without the responsibility of transporting children.
• Maintain tidiness limited to cleaning up after activities or meals involving the children.
• Create engaging, age-appropriate activities based on the developmental needs of each child to foster an interactive and enjoyable environment.

Candidate Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Availability to work at least three weekdays for 6 to 8 hour shifts between 7 am and 7 pm.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to responsiveness with a positive, friendly demeanor when interacting with families and supervisors.
