About the Role
As an Operations Coordinator in the E-Commerce sector based in Dubai, you will play a crucial role in managing day-to-day administrative and operational functions related to marketplace activities. This position requires you to coordinate multiple cross-functional tasks for smooth marketplace operations under a contract employment basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily administrative and operational support tasks to ensure efficient marketplace functioning.
- Handle customer support queries and work towards resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain and update product catalogues including data entry, SKU management, product validation, and correcting listings as necessary.
- Assist in customer and seller onboarding by verifying documentation and facilitating account creation.
- Supervise order processing, collaborate with logistics partners to address delays or exceptions in delivery.
- Manage order-related activities such as cancellations, status updates, and issue monitoring.
- Validate and coordinate refunds and returns processing.
- Maintain comprehensive operational trackers, reports, and performance documents.
- Analyze recurring operational challenges and propose enhancements to process efficiency.
Candidate Requirements
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in operations, administration, customer support, e-commerce, marketplace operations, or logistics.
- High attention to detail with the capability to manage substantial volumes of operational tasks effectively.
- Sound knowledge of the order lifecycle including fulfilment, customer support, refunds, and returns processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and the management of spreadsheets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with strong coordination abilities.
- Ability to multitask and perform efficiently in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, Order Management Systems (OMS), marketplace platforms, or catalogue management software is a valuable plus.
