Job description
Overview
Join Avara Foods at their Hereford site as a Night Hygiene Operative and earn a minimum of A561 weekly. No previous experience is required as comprehensive training is provided from day one. This is a full-time, onsite position with secure contracts and guaranteed hours.

Working Hours
Shift timing is Monday to Friday from 22:00 to 06:00 hours.
Role Responsibilities
- Support the Hygiene team's achievement of required cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Follow all health and safety regulations and food safety procedures consistently
- Meet individual and departmental targets with understanding and commitment
- Monitor the efficient use of materials and energy resources
- Contribute actively to ongoing improvements in quality, safety, and productivity
- Engage in manual handling of equipment and plant
- Conduct isolation procedures for machinery and plant as needed
- Maintain housekeeping and hygiene standards both individually and collaboratively
- Adhere strictly to food safety and Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidelines
- Execute instructions issued by Team Leaders or Management effectively
Candidate Requirements
- Proficiency in English with basic numeracy skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting
- Attention to detail and flexibility in handling different tasks
- Previous experience in production or manufacturing settings preferred but not mandatory due to provided training
