Company Overview
Founded in 2009, Gold and Minerals Ltd (GMCO) has adopted a discovery-focused strategy for mine development. The company has identified two significant deposits: the Jabal Qutman gold site and the Wadi Bidah Copper-Gold Volcanogenic Massive Sulfide (VMS) deposit, both progressing through feasibility studies. GMCO holds exploration rights over an extensive area totaling more than 2200 square kilometers across 29 licenses in Saudi Arabia.
Role Summary
We are looking for a motivated Mining Engineer to join our Mine Development Team. This position involves contributing to the design, planning, and operational execution of mining activities in both open pit and underground settings, ensuring projects meet safety, efficiency, and sustainability goals.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and planning of mining operations as well as their daily management.
- Maintain compliance with established safety, quality, and environmental guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with various functional teams to achieve project objectives.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to enhance their capabilities.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Mining Engineering.
- Have at least 5 years of relevant experience in the mining sector.
- Demonstrate proficient English communication abilities.
- Exhibit a practical, hands-on approach focused on operational success.
- Be cooperative, hardworking, and committed to teamwork.
