Role Overview

The Drill Rig Operator (Driller) plays a critical role in managing and operating drilling rigs to extract core samples and collect essential data supporting mineral exploration initiatives. The operator ensures drilling activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and precisely in line with project specifications and internal safety protocols.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of a technical diploma or certificate relevant to drilling, mining, or a related discipline is preferred.
• A minimum of three to five years’ professional experience in exploration drilling methods, including air core, diamond drilling (DD), and reverse circulation (RC) drilling.
• Demonstrated competence in operating and maintaining various surface exploration drill rigs, such as diamond core, reverse circulation, and air core equipment.
• Thorough understanding of drilling instruments, fluids, and established sampling techniques.
• Holds a valid driver's license and is capable of working in isolated and remote field settings.
