Position Overview

We are looking for a dependable Kitchen Attendant to support our kitchen and food & beverage operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure cleanliness of kitchen spaces, equipment, and utensils.
• Operate dishwashing machinery and maintain prompt cleaning turnaround for kitchenware.
• Assist chefs with simple food preparation tasks as needed.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling processes appropriately.
• Adhere consistently to food safety, hygiene, and workplace health & safety (WHS) protocols.
• Assist with kitchen setup, cleaning routines, and procedures during pre-opening phases.
• Support stock management including handling deliveries and organizing storage.
• Collaborate effectively with the Kitchen and Food & Beverage teams.

Desired Qualifications and Attributes

• Prior experience in a kitchen or related role is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong work ethic paired with a positive, proactive attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently under fast-paced conditions.
• High attention to detail with respect to cleanliness standards.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions from senior kitchen personnel.
• Flexibility to work on rotating rosters including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Valid legal entitlement to work in Australia.
