Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop, revise, and upkeep Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Calibration Department.
- Design On-the-Job Training (OJT) curriculums, create individualized training plans and assessments, and maintain comprehensive training records for department staff.
- Manage master standards, instruments, equipment, spare parts, and maintenance schedules within the SAP system, including updating and deactivating relevant records.
- Administer SOP-related tasks in SAP to facilitate timely generation of notifications as per the M5 system.
- Prepare purchase requests and collaborate with the Purchase Department to ensure timely creation of Purchase Orders and handling of technical offers.
- Create, track, and follow up on Deviations, Change Controls (CC), and Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPAs) using the Ample Logic system.
- Generate and monitor monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the Calibration Department.
- Organize the dispatch and receipt of master and reference standards for calibration purposes spanning Julphar plants and R&D labs, including coordination with third-party calibration providers.
- Collaborate with suppliers as well as internal Purchase, Security, and Logistics teams to manage the collection, delivery, and international shipment of reference standards.
- Keep reference and master standard plans current with monthly and annual updates.
- Ensure adherence to established calibration procedures and validate the applicable calibration ranges for all standards.
- Support department personnel in documentation efforts and facilitate the achievement of calibration targets.
Qualifications and Knowledge
- Possession of a Master's degree in Information Technology.
- A range of 0 to 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication abilities.
- Proficiency with MS Office, SAP, and Electronic Quality Management Systems (EQMS).
- Familiarity with ISO-17025 standards and guidelines.
