Junior RPA Developer

About the Role

Join Boskalis and contribute to pioneering sustainable solutions in infrastructure and marine projects amidst global challenges like population growth, trade expansion, energy demand, and climate change. As part of an international, diverse team, you will work from our Abu Dhabi office within the Integration and Automation team based in the Netherlands, focusing on designing, developing, testing, and maintaining RPA automations to support the business operations at Boskalis.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining UiPath robotic process automations (RPA).
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to recognize automation prospects in operational workflows.
• Collect, document, and translate business requirements into functional process designs for automation.
• Support the deployment of new or modified automation solutions.
• Monitor existing automations, troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during operations.
• Coordinate closely with business users, IT staff, and fellow RPA developers to enhance process efficiency and stabilize automation functionality.
• Contribute to standardizing processes, documentation practices, and continuous improvement efforts.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of five years’ experience in operational roles, process or IT support, or related areas focused on business technologies.
• Background in process improvement, automation concepts, and digital solution implementation.
• Experience with RPA technology, with a preference for UiPath; strong enthusiasm to grow skills in RPA development.
• Familiarity with advanced UiPath features such as Test Automation, Document Understanding, and Agentic AI is advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work autonomously and within a multicultural and multinational environment.
• Detail-oriented with a practical and proactive approach to responsibilities.
• Demonstrates responsibility, adaptability, and a thirst for learning new skills.

• The position is based full-time at our modern Abu Dhabi office.
