Role Overview
We seek a proficient ICT Governance and Change Management Specialist responsible for directing and overseeing the entire technology change management process. This role ensures technology changes are executed in a controlled, compliant, and business-aligned manner that mitigates risks and optimizes benefits. The position is vital for sustaining operational stability and fostering continuous improvements.
The appointment is for a 12-month contract, with potential for extension subject to departmental needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of technology change management.
- Formulate, implement, and maintain change management policies, standards, and frameworks.
- Organize and conduct Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings.
- Evaluate and authorize change requests considering risk, consequences, and preparedness.
- Ensure all technology modifications are consistent with broader business strategies and goals.
- Manage impact assessments, fallback plans, and scheduling for implementations.
- Track change outcomes, success rates, and conduct post-implementation reviews.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in ICT operations, change management, or similar roles.
- Deep understanding of IT service management and best practices in change management.
- Experience working within governance structures and formal approval mechanisms.
- Strong analytical abilities, coordination skills, and expertise in documentation.
- Fluent in both Arabic and English, spoken and written.
- Certifications such as ITIL or COBIT are advantageous.
