Home Delivery Driver

About the Role

Join Iceland Foods as a Home Delivery Driver, a position designed for those who enjoy staying active, working independently, and engaging with customers daily on the road. You will be the face of the company by delivering groceries safely and ensuring an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform safe loading of delivery vans, including handling heavy items and following manual handling procedures.
• Adhere to all driving safety guidelines during deliveries.
• Conduct vehicle checks to ensure van safety and readiness for the day.
• Maintain the quality of food deliveries so that items arrive in optimal condition.
• Deliver outstanding customer service while interacting directly with customers.
• Support store operations when necessary.
• Manage your own schedule independently and efficiently to meet delivery deadlines.
• Work flexibly on shifts scheduled between 6:00 AM and 11:00 PM.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a full driving license held for at least three years with no more than six penalty points.
• Have a positive, friendly attitude and a strong passion for providing excellent customer service.
• Be punctual and able to manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to road safety awareness.
