About the Role
We are collaborating with a premier fashion retailer in London seeking a Head of Ecommerce & Trading to spearhead the digital expansion of their well-established consumer brands. This senior leadership role involves overseeing commercial trading, enhancing customer experience, optimizing operations, and steering strategic direction. The chosen individual will transform the ecommerce function from routine trading activities into a dynamic, customer-centered, and data-focused growth driver.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement the ecommerce trading strategy to align with overall business goals.
- Accelerate growth metrics including revenue, conversion rates, and revenue per visit.
- Enhance the customer journey and onsite experiences through optimization initiatives.
- Strengthen trading processes and establish effective workflows.
- Utilize data analytics, insights, and testing methodologies to uncover growth opportunities.
- Lead and mentor the ecommerce trading team to boost capability and performance.
- Promote and build strong collaboration across commercial departments.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience as a Head of Ecommerce or Ecommerce Director.
- Robust background in fashion, retail, or product-driven ecommerce environments.
- Track record of managing substantial ecommerce revenue streams.
- Demonstrated ability to enhance performance, refine processes, and elevate team skills.
- Commercially savvy with a customer-first perspective.
- Capable of strategic thinking combined with hands-on operational involvement.
