Overview
Join Jovie as a full-time or part-time nanny providing attentive care for infants and toddlers in the Kenmore, Washington area. This role involves working closely with local families to foster safe, nurturing environments for their young children during daytime hours. Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of infants and toddlers under your care.
- Assist with feeding schedules, nap routines, and daily activities.
- Promote development and learning through age-appropriate play and reading.
- Maintain clear and proactive communication with parents about their child’s progress and day-to-day experiences.
- Create a positive, encouraging atmosphere that supports children's growth.
Work Schedule
- Preferred availability from Monday to Friday.
- Typical shifts range between 6 to 9 hours, mostly falling between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
- Placement with thoroughly vetted families within the local community.
Qualifications
- Minimum of one year experience caring for infants, gained through nannying, babysitting, daycare, preschool, church nursery, or similar childcare settings.
- Passion for working with young children, particularly infants and toddlers.
- Reliable and professional demeanor.
- Strong communication skills with both children and parents.
- Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
- Ability to provide at least two childcare-related references and one character reference.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
