About the Role
Jovie is seeking dedicated and nurturing caregivers to provide full-time, in-home childcare for infants and toddlers in Kirkland, Washington. This position offers a chance to work with local families in a professional and supportive environment, ideal for those passionate about early childhood care. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available, primarily during daytime hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure a safe and caring atmosphere for infants and toddlers.
- Assist with feeding schedules, nap routines, and daily activities.
- Promote developmental learning through age-appropriate play and reading.
- Maintain open and clear communication with parents regarding their child's daily progress.
- Create a positive space for children to thrive and learn.
Work Schedule
- Preferred availability Monday through Friday.
- Typical shift times between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
- Shifts generally last from 6 to 9 hours.
- Assignments with thoroughly screened local families.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of one year caring for infants, through nannying, babysitting, daycare, preschool, or similar.
- Strong affection for working with infants and toddlers.
- Reliable, professional demeanor with excellent communication skills.
- Valid driver's license with dependable transportation.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to provide a minimum of two childcare-related references and one character reference.
