Job description
Position Overview
Milesef Fire Safety & Security Pvt. Ltd., a Navi Mumbai-based company specializing in fire safety services for hospitals, industries, and commercial properties, is recruiting Firemen for a hospital site in Wadala, Mumbai. This role involves vigilant fire safety monitoring to protect patients, staff, and visitors daily.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine patrols and monitor the hospital premises for any fire hazards.
- Conduct regular inspections of fire safety equipment including extinguishers, hydrants, hose reels, sprinklers, and alarm systems.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, checklists, and inspection registers for all fire safety apparatus.
- Respond promptly to fire alarms and emergencies following the established emergency response protocols of the hospital site.
- Support fire drills, evacuation procedures, and safety training sessions for hospital personnel.
- Ensure unobstructed fire exits, escape routes, and assembly points at all times.
- Report any safety hazards, equipment deficiencies, or incident occurrences to the Site Supervisor and the company's operations team.
- Collaborate with hospital security and facility management during emergency situations.
Candidate Requirements
- Certification in fireman training or fire safety from a recognized institute (preferably MFS or equivalent).
- Physically robust and capable of working across shifts, including night duties as per the roster.
- Alertness, discipline, and composure under pressure, especially within a hospital environment.
- Basic literacy in English, Hindi, or Marathi to maintain records and checklists.
- Fresh graduates with completed fire safety training are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience at hospitals, shopping malls, high-rise buildings or industrial sites is advantageous.
