Finance Manager

Role Overview

We seek an experienced Finance Manager specialized in Financial Planning & Analysis and tax management, preferably with a background in sectors such as Aluminium, Facades, MEP, or Contracting. The ideal candidate will oversee financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and treasury operations to support sound financial decisions and maintain the company's fiscal health.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop financial models, analyze data, and provide insights for strategic decision-making within the company.
• Manage budgeting processes by analyzing historical trends and market data to create and control company budgets.
• Forecast future financial outcomes using historical data, internal inputs, and market trends.
• Prepare financial statements and comprehensive reports for different departments.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks linked to investments, mergers and acquisitions, or business decisions.
• Formulate both short-term and long-term financial strategies and propose actions to enhance performance.
• Advise leadership on operational finance processes and significant business decisions.
• Construct financial models to predict business outcomes.
• Analyze key performance indicators to detect trends and patterns.
• Conduct scenario planning to anticipate various business results.
• Implement business intelligence tools and develop dashboard reports.
• Oversee treasury functions including cash flow management, investments, mergers and acquisitions, and risk evaluation to ensure sufficient cash availability and efficient capital usage.
• Monitor and sustain cash flow to ensure business liquidity.
• Design and regularly update cash flow forecasts.
• Manage financial risks to maintain financial stability.
• Administer credit management practices to secure financial stability.
• Plan for the organization's overall financial needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Professional certifications such as CA, ACCA, CMA, CFA, or CPA are required; candidates with partial qualifications will also be considered.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in roles related to the above responsibilities, preferably in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with measurable results.
• Hands-on experience in treasury management and bank finance operations.
• Proficiency in revenue recognition processes.
• In-depth knowledge of VAT procedures and submissions.
• Good familiarity with corporate tax processes.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong analytical abilities with effective problem-solving skills, capable of interpreting complex financial data and deriving actionable insights.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Keen attention to detail ensuring high accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
• Experience with ERP system implementations is advantageous.
• Robust organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Self-driven, proactive, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving workplace.
• Demonstrated leadership and project management capabilities.

Additional Information

Salary ranges between AED 15,000 and 20,000 per month. The compensation package also includes a company car and fuel allowance.
