Role Overview
The Executive - Logistics & Stores will play a vital part in managing all aspects of invoicing, shipment coordination, and warehouse operations to facilitate smooth logistics and storage processes within the Saint-Gobain Group in India.
Primary Responsibilities
- Execute invoicing and billing accurately and promptly using SAP systems.
- Oversee outbound shipment processes, ensuring dispatches happen as scheduled.
- Collaborate with the sales team, aligning on orders, prioritization, and customer requirements.
- Deliver a customer-focused approach to guarantee a seamless order-to-delivery workflow.
- Ensure materials are stored correctly following FIFO and FEFO guidelines.
- Maintain precise inventory records via manual logs or ERP solutions.
- Coordinate seamlessly with production, purchasing, and dispatch teams for efficient operations.
- Prepare, review, and manage all dispatch-related documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and e-way bills.
- Conduct routine stock audits and verify physical inventory regularly.
- Monitor stock levels continuously, reporting any shortages or inconsistencies promptly.
- Ensure appropriate labeling, stacking, and overall warehouse housekeeping are maintained.
- Supervise safe loading and unloading activities, including overseeing labor and forklift operations.
- Adhere strictly to safety standards and company policies throughout all warehouse functions.
- Maintain compliance with 5S, Environment Health & Safety (EHS) protocols and audit requirements.
- Lead and support initiatives aimed at continuous process improvements.
