Job Qualifications
- Possess a Diploma or ITI certification in HVAC or a related technical discipline.
- Have 3 to 5 years of work experience within luxury hotel environments, which is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the effective functioning of all HVAC equipment, suggesting enhancements when needed.
- Contribute to efforts focused on lowering energy use and utility expenses.
- Maintain daily records of cold room and refrigeration unit readings to ensure correct performance.
- Perform repair and upkeep tasks on various HVAC components including AHUs, FCUs, ventilation and exhaust systems, window A/C units, and packaged units.
- Assist in compiling lists of spare parts required for HVAC and refrigeration maintenance.
- Keep plant rooms, workshops, and associated areas clean and well-organized.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including first aid and fire emergency procedures.
- Work cooperatively and professionally with coworkers, guests, contractors, and other departments.
- Take part in drafting the annual POMEC budget and oversee cost management related to HVAC operations.
- Document any incidents or accidents following the hotel's established policies.
- Provide guest escorts or support as necessary.
- Suggest updates to operational policies and procedures aimed at improving efficiency.
