Position Summary

This full-time, on-site opportunity in Doha seeks a Draughtsman skilled in producing technical drawings utilizing CAD tools. Responsibilities include transforming sketches and concepts into detailed plans as per engineering and architectural guidelines, updating existing designs, and ensuring all documents align with project and regulatory standards. Close coordination with engineers, architects, and project leads is required to clarify designs and resolve any inconsistencies while supporting approval and construction documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Create precise technical drawings and plans employing CAD software based on specifications.
• Revise and update drawings to reflect changes and feedback.
• Collaborate effectively with project teams including engineers and architects to finalize details.
• Maintain systematic organization of drawing archives and assist in quality assurance processes.
• Meet deadlines and adhere strictly to company protocols throughout all project stages.

Candidate Requirements

• Proficient user of CAD software (such as AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalents) with strong drafting capabilities.
• Good grasp of engineering or architectural concepts, construction techniques, and applicable design standards.
• Capacity to interpret sketches, specifications, and technical documentation into accurate drawings.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple revisions and priorities efficiently.
• Strong communication skills for cross-disciplinary teamwork on site.
• Holding a diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or related fields.
• Prior experience in relevant industries within the region is advantageous.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Doha or Qatar is a plus.
